Dear
Community Member,
I am pleased to announce that the Chevron Richmond Refinery
and other national refineries have reached a mutually acceptable
tentative agreement with employees who are represented by
the United Steelworkers (USW) union.
As I noted in my last communication, we place the highest
priority on the health and safety of our workforce, our
neighbors and the protection of the environment. We are
pleased that after working diligently with union members,
we were able to reach an agreement and can now move forward.
