On Thursday, September 17, over 50 Chevron employees joined with the Richmond Bay Area Rescue Mission to host the "Back to School Block Party" at Nevin Park in Richmond, CA. Hundreds of Richmond school children attended the event, with volunteers from Chevron's Richmond-based employees.

Richmond Refinery manager Mike Coyle said, "We know that when Richmond children feel appreciated, they want to become active in the community. We also know that any investment in our kids today will go a long way towards a brighter future for them tomorrow."
