at offering an alternative energy source to PG&E for
it's residents and businesses. This will be supplied
by Marin Energy Authority. Shasa Curl and Dawn Weisz
will be presenting an overview of the program, including:
- History of MEA
- Cities in the program
- Governing Board & powers of authority
- Energy supply sources
- Impact on low income energy programs
- Rate programs
- comparison to PG&E
- Rate impacts if move from MEA to PG&E and
back
- Future rate changes
- Timing of transition and plans to educate community
